Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods and processing procedures used by AO Container Lines Inc.

1. Accepted payment methods

AO Container Lines Inc. accepts:

  • Major credit cards supported by the secure checkout provider
  • Bank wire transfer
  • Other payment methods expressly displayed at checkout or stated in an authorized invoice

The availability of a payment method may depend on the order value, billing location, fraud screening, product, or transaction type.

2. Currency

All website prices and payments are stated and processed in United States dollars unless an authorized written quotation expressly states otherwise.

3. Credit-card payments

Credit-card payments are processed through an authorized third-party payment processor.

AO Container Lines Inc. does not require customers to send complete card information by email, text message, or ordinary contact form.

Credit-card transactions may be subject to:

  • Authorization
  • Address verification
  • Identity verification
  • Fraud screening
  • Transaction limits
  • Additional authentication
  • Issuer approval

An authorization does not necessarily constitute final order acceptance.

4. Wire-transfer payments

Wire-transfer instructions will be provided through an authorized AO Container Lines Inc. invoice or official communication.

Customers must:

  • Use the correct order or invoice reference
  • Send the exact invoiced amount
  • Pay any originating-bank charges
  • Verify beneficiary details before sending funds
  • Retain payment confirmation

Orders paid by wire transfer remain pending until cleared funds have been received.

5. Wire-fraud warning

Customers should treat any unexpected request to change bank details as potentially fraudulent.

Before sending a wire transfer:

  1. Confirm that the communication came from an official @aocontainerlines.com email address.
  2. Independently verify the payment instructions by calling +1 (562) 244-2820.
  3. Do not rely solely on a reply to an email requesting changed banking details.

AO Container Lines Inc. will not ask a customer to redirect payment to an unrelated personal account.

6. Taxes and delivery charges

Applicable sales or use tax is calculated according to the transaction, customer location, delivery location, pickup location, and applicable law.

Delivery or shipping charges are displayed or quoted separately where permitted.

The order total must be presented before the customer authorizes payment.

7. Order review

AO Container Lines Inc. may review an order to confirm:

  • Product availability
  • Pricing
  • Payment status
  • Billing information
  • Delivery information
  • Site requirements
  • Suspected fraud
  • Quantity
  • Eligibility for online checkout

AO Container Lines Inc. may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the order.

8. Order acceptance

An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.

The order is accepted when AO Container Lines Inc.:

  • Confirms the product
  • Confirms payment
  • Confirms delivery or pickup requirements
  • Issues an order-acceptance or dispatch confirmation

If the order cannot be accepted, AO Container Lines Inc. will notify the customer and release or refund the applicable payment.

9. Pricing errors

If a clear pricing or technical error affects an order, AO Container Lines Inc. will notify the customer before fulfilment.

The customer may:

  • Accept the corrected price; or
  • Cancel the affected product and receive a refund

AO Container Lines Inc. will not substitute a different product without customer approval.

10. Payment security

The website must use:

  • HTTPS
  • Secure checkout
  • Tokenized payment processing
  • Access controls
  • Fraud monitoring
  • Appropriate data-security measures

Raw payment-card information must not be stored in the AO website database.

11. Payment disputes

Customers should contact AO Container Lines Inc. promptly when they believe a transaction is incorrect.

Contacting AO Container Lines Inc. does not limit any right the customer may have through the payment provider or applicable law.

12. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Credit-card refunds are returned to the card used for the transaction.
  • Wire-transfer refunds are returned to a verified account associated with the original payer.
  • AO Container Lines Inc. may require reasonable identity or account verification before releasing a wire refund.

Refund timing is governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy.
