Delivery and Placement
Container delivery requires more than an address. Vehicle access, overhead clearance, turning space, surface conditions, gate width, container orientation, and unloading equipment all affect the delivery plan.

These periods are estimates unless a guaranteed date is expressly provided in writing. Weather, road conditions, carrier availability, permits, and site access can affect timing — material delays are communicated with a revised estimate. See the Shipping and Delivery Policy.
How Delivery Is Priced
Transport is priced by road distance from our Long Beach depot: a flat truck call-out plus a per-mile rate for the container length, published as fixed rates by distance band so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Enter your delivery ZIP in the cart and the exact figure is applied automatically — no surprises at the gate.

Rates are per container, tilt-bed delivery. Sites beyond 150 road miles, orders of three or more units, and specialised placements (crane sets, restricted access) are quoted individually — usually within one business day.
Site-Access Checklist
Before delivery is scheduled, confirm each of the following:
- The delivery address is accurate
- The site is legally available for delivery and placement
- Required permits or approvals have been obtained
- The access road can safely accommodate the delivery vehicle
- Gates and access points are sufficiently wide (12–14 ft typical)
- There is adequate turning and maneuvering space
- The surface is stable, level, and load-bearing
- Overhead wires, branches, and structures are identified
- The placement area is clear
- A responsible adult or representative will be present
- The requested door orientation has been communicated
- People, animals, and vehicles are kept clear during unloading

Plus 12–14 ft of width and overhead clearance free of wires and branches along the whole route. Figures are typical guides — the carrier confirms requirements for your site.
Unloading Methods
- Tilt-bed truck (standard)The truck tilts its bed and the container slides off onto your prepared surface.
- Flatbed + forkliftYou provide suitable lifting equipment on site (forklift rated for the load, with container attachments).
- CraneFor placements a truck cannot reach. Quoted per site.
- ChassisThe container stays on a road chassis — used for transport-oriented projects.
If Delivery Cannot Be Completed
The delivery provider may decline to enter or unload at a location that appears unsafe, unlawful, or inaccessible. When delivery fails because of inaccurate information or an unprepared site, reasonable waiting, redelivery, storage, or return-transportation costs may apply — always disclosed before a new attempt is scheduled. Accurate site information up front avoids all of this.
